Workshop Terms, Liability Waiver & Photography Release

By registering for or participating in a Mommy’s Board Silly workshop, class, event, or private party, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

If you are registering on behalf of other participants, you are responsible for ensuring that members of your group understand and agree to these terms. Participants under the age of 18 must be registered and supervised by a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on their behalf.

Assumption of Risk

Mommy’s Board Silly workshops are hands-on crafting events that may involve materials and tools including (but not limited to) resin, adhesives such as hot glue, paints, stains, glass, wood, metal pieces, hardware, and various crafting tools.

Participation in hands-on crafting activities involves inherent risks including injury, burns, cuts, allergic reactions, splinters, property damage, or other accidents. By attending an event, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Participants agree to follow all instructions provided during the workshop and to use reasonable care when handling tools and materials.

Release of Liability

By participating in a Mommy’s Board Silly workshop, you agree to release and hold harmless Mommy’s Board Silly, its owner Erin Putzig, assistants, partners, and host venues from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from or related to participation in the event.

Health & Materials

Some workshops may involve materials such as resin, adhesives, paints, stains, or other craft products that may cause irritation or allergic reactions for some individuals. Participants are responsible for using their own judgment regarding participation if they have allergies, sensitivities, or medical concerns.

Participants acknowledge that they have been informed that such materials may be used and agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the workshop.

Alcohol

Many Mommy’s Board Silly events take place at venues that serve alcohol. If you choose to consume alcohol before or during an event, you do so voluntarily and assume responsibility for your own actions and safety.

Care of Supplies & Venue Property

Participants are expected to use reasonable care when handling tools, materials, and supplies provided during the workshop.

Participants may be held responsible for damage to tools, supplies, equipment, or venue property caused by misuse, negligence, or intentional behavior.

Project Results & Transport

Because projects are handmade and use materials such as resin, adhesives, paints, or glass, final results may vary.

Some projects require additional curing or drying time. Resin projects in particular may take approximately 24–72 hours to fully cure.

Registration, Cancellations & Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are final.

If you are unable to attend an event, you may:

• Transfer your ticket to a friend

• Request a DIY kit (when available)

• Receive a credit to use toward another event within 3 months

If preferred, Mommy’s Board Silly can complete your project for you for an additional $10 service fee.

Projects and DIY kits may be picked up locally in New Milford or shipped for an additional fee.

Events may be rescheduled or cancelled due to illness, weather, or low enrollment. Each event requires a minimum number of participants, which may vary by venue and project.

If this happens, Mommy’s Board Silly will offer alternative date options or provide a credit to use toward a future workshop within 6 months.

Ordering & Pickup Information

For workshop registrations, all materials are prepared in advance and brought directly to the event location.

At checkout, please select “Bring to Event (Workshop / Party Project Only).”

If an alternate option such as shipping or local pickup is selected in error, your order will still be prepared for the event.

If shipping is selected in error and a refund is requested, a small portion of the shipping fee may be retained to cover processing and transaction costs.

Email Communication

Please add Erin@MommysBoardSilly.com to your contacts to ensure you receive important event updates and information.

Participants are responsible for transporting their projects safely and for protecting their vehicles, clothing, and personal property during transport. Mommy’s Board Silly is not responsible for damage to projects or personal property after participants leave the event.

Photography Release

By attending a Mommy’s Board Silly event, you grant permission for photographs or videos taken during the event to be used for marketing or promotional purposes including website content, social media, advertising, or printed materials.

Participants who prefer not to appear in photographs may notify the instructor at the event.

Workshop Content

Workshop formats, demonstrations, and class structures are provided for personal enjoyment and learning. Participants may not reproduce or host workshops using Mommy’s Board Silly class formats without permission.
