Looking for fun holiday activities in Connecticut or a creative night out with friends? Join Mommy's Board Silly at Aquila's Nest Vineyard in Newtown, CT, on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, from 6–8 PM for our Holiday Chunky Blanket Workshop!

Whether you're ready to get into the Christmas spirit with our adorable Santa Belly Blanket or you'd rather create a cozy chunky blanket in your favorite everyday colors, this workshop is for you!

Choose Your Blanket Style

Classic Chunky Blanket – $90

Choose your favorite colors and create a beautiful, soft, chunky knit blanket that's perfect for cozy nights at home. Go with traditional holiday colors, winter neutrals, or a combination that matches your home décor. It's completely up to you!

Santa Belly Chunky Blanket – $105

Want something extra festive? Create our specialty Santa Belly Blanket, featuring Santa's signature red suit, black belt, and gold buckle! It's a fun Christmas-inspired design that's perfect for holiday decorating, gifting, or curling up on the couch for Christmas movie night.

You do NOT have to make the Santa blanket! It's simply our featured holiday design. Everyone is welcome to choose their own colors and create a classic chunky blanket instead.

No Knitting Experience? No Problem!

This is a fully instructor-led, hands-on finger knitting workshop designed for beginners.

You'll learn how to create a chunky knit blanket using just your hands — no knitting needles, crochet hooks, or previous experience required!

We'll walk you through the process step by step, from getting started to creating your rows and learning how to finish your blanket.

And the best part? Once you've learned the technique, you'll have the skills to make more blankets on your own!

Work at your own pace, enjoy your time with friends, and continue your blanket at home if you don't finish during the workshop.

• Your choice of available colors for classic blankets

• Step-by-step instruction from Mommy's Board Silly
